This half-day adventure takes you through Cape Town's historic city center, then up Table Mountain for spectacular views over the region. A guide shows you Cape Town landmarks like the Castle of Good Hope and City Hall before you make your way up this iconic mountain's slopes.

After being picked up from your hotel, begin driving through the streets of Cape Town's historic city center. View age-old buildings and structures as your guide illuminates the city's history starting from the 16th century. Visit the Castle of Good Hope, built in 1666, as well as the 100-year-old City Hall and its mock-Baroque architecture.

Also pay a visit to Bo-Kaap, the Malay Quarter, and learn about the slaves that were brought to the area in the early 18th century. After slavery was eliminated, Bo-Kaap was settled and established by their descendants, who were known as the Cape Malays.

You then proceed to Table Mountain, where you climb to the 3,558-ft (1,084m) summit via cablecar. As you slowly ascend, look down at the lush nature of the mountain, including beautiful wild flowers. From the mountain peak, you can look out at sprawling views of the gorgeous coast and the surrounding area. After taking in the view, make your way back down the mountain and drive back to Cape Town.
