This gigantic market is vibrant! Explore its three floors bursting with sights, sounds, and enticing aromas. Be prepared for a sensory overload of colorful crafts, fresh produce, and delicious food stalls, a fully-immersive experience of engagement with Guadalajara's working-class culture. Since this is a private tour -just for you and your companions- we can go at our own pace. Make sure to bring cash in Mxn pesos so you can get whatever you like (ATMs available if needed). There is an endless diversity of souvenirs and handicrafts, and we can take as long as you whish to buy anything you need. As part of the culinary experience we will try: 1. Tortas ahogadas: a tomato salsa-drowned pork carnitas sandwich. 2. Tacos de barbacoa: slow-cooked marinated beef, served in grilled tacos. 3. Tejuino: a cold beverage made from fermented corn. 4. Artisanal candies and/or seasonal fruits. * VE, VG choices are available upon request, simply let me know via message after booking the tour.

Keep in mind, this is a private tour, so we can pause anytime to take a break, enjoy a coffee or ice cream, and capture as many photos as you'd like.

The house specialty at Nueve Esquinas is birria, a juicy and delicious hearty meat stew, served with hand-made tortillas, cilantro, onions, lemon and salsa.
