Come paddle crystal- clear glacial pools and glacier-fed streams while taking in the breathtaking vistas of the surrounding mountains of the Chugach Range. On arrival to the office you will be weighed and receive a safety briefing. Then your day starts out with a helicopter flight past snow-capped mountain peaks, over braided rivers, and through glacier valleys. Fly over mighty Knik Glacier one of the largest glaciers left in Southcentral Alaska at 26 miles in length and 6 miles across at its toe. Once the pilot has picked a perfect glacial pool for your comfort and adventure level and landed, your glacier paddling experience begins! You will be outfitted by adventure guides with all necessary equipment, and receive instruction on water safety and SUP paddling, then have plenty of time to explore the beautiful pools atop the glacier. In addition to paddling, you’ll also have the opportunity to explore the deep crevasses, towering ice walls, and stunning blue ice formations on foot.
