What you can expect

The Coves de Sant Josep underground river, located in the area of the same name, is a natural cave situated in the municipality of La Vall d'Uixó, in the province of Castellón, Spain.

The cavity was formed during the Middle Triassic period and is composed mostly of limestone. The source of the river and the end of the cave are unknown.

It is the longest cave system in the province of Castellón and the second longest in the Valencian Community. What's more, thanks to its water source, it is the longest navigable underground river in Europe.
