Travel from Shanghai to Ninghai in the evening. On arrival, your English-speaking guide will assist with hotel check-in before you settle in for the night and prepare for the next day’s hike.

Day 2: Tea Hills, Ancient Villages & Forest Hot Springs

Begin the day’s hike from Longgong Ancient Village and follow trails inspired by Ninghai’s historic routes and national hiking network. Walk through traditional village scenery, tea fields, terraced farmland, mountain streams and woodland before continuing toward Xixi Reservoir. The full hike is approximately 7–8 km and is designed at a moderate, relaxed pace.

Hike approximately 3 km through the scenic Yancang Mountain area, starting from the Hehong Post Station. Follow gentle paths and stone steps past mountain scenery, waterfalls and a small blue reservoir before reaching Foshoutai, a dramatic viewpoint overlooking the surrounding hills.

Qiangjiao Marina

Explore the seaside atmosphere of Qiangjiao, a traditional fishing town on the Ninghai coast. After free time for lunch, stroll along the fishing harbor, see returning boats and village murals, and enjoy views across the water toward Hengshan Island. Depending on the tide, there may also be time to explore the rocky shoreline and look for shells before relaxing by the coast.
