Cesky Krumlov: is a town that takes one back in time into another world away from today’s busy life style. The town which is a UNESCO world heritage, is close to the Austrian border way down south where the landscape is breath taking.
In the town one comes across the second largest castle in the country, surpassed only by Prague‘s Hradčany castle. The immense building which overlooks the Vltava river, passed through many hands – the Rozembergs‘, the Habsburgs‘, the Eggenburgs‘,and finally the Swarzenburgs’s, all of whom added, adjusted and removed parts of the castle as they fancied during their times.
Our tour will take us for a guided stroll along the cobblestoned streets and alleys, talking about and adimiring variuos buildings as well as open spaces, up to the castle compound (entrance to the castle museum included).
The town offers lots of inspirations for photos and memories to take back home with you – it just takes one away from modern busy times to relax and find oneself again. Free time is allowed to enjoy one’s time as one likes –relaxing, popping in some cosy place for something nice to eat, photograf or just walking along the place.
