Your journey concludes at the peaceful Grgeteg Monastery, founded in 1471 by Despot Vuk Grgurević, known as Zmaj Ognjeni Vuk. Renewed in 1708 after the Great Migration of the Serbs, the present Baroque church dates to around 1770 and was restored in 1898 by architect Hermann Bollé. Inside, you'll find a remarkable iconostasis painted by Uroš Predić in 1902. Today, this serene monastery is a protected Monument of Culture of Exceptional Importance.
