From Monterosso to Vernazza we will travel the ancient road connecting the two countries where we can admire the characteristic terraced landscape of the Cinque Terre, where the work of man in about a thousand years has profoundly modified the steep slopes of the hills overlooking the sea in order to obtain small horizontal strips of land (terracing or can in local language) supported by thousands of kilometers of dry stone walls. For centuries, the terraces have mainly cultivated vines for the production of prestigious wines such as Cinque Terre Schiacchetrà DOC.During the route we will also appreciate beautiful views in particular towards the towns of Vernazza and Monterosso and all over the coast of the Cinque Terre.

Arrived in Vernazza we will visit the ancient village, ending our activity near the train station in front of the farm shop la Bottega.
