Enjoy an unforgettable experience aboard the “Bernina Red Train,” amid breathtaking Alpine landscapes, frozen lakes, and spectacular viaducts. The approximate itinerary is as follows:
- Departure by bus from Bergamo, then Milan, and then Lecco.
- En route, we'll stop for refreshments and breakfast.
- Arrival in Tirano and board the famous “Bernina Red Train,” which takes approximately 2 hours.
- Arrival in St. Moritz, where you'll have free time to explore the city.
- Return by bus to the departure point.
*Please note: Seats on the bus are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Seats on the “Bernina Red Train” are not assigned, but you should board in an orderly fashion and make yourselves comfortable. Our agency has an entire carriage reserved for the entire group, so don't worry about seats on the train—we'll all be seated!
IMPORTANT NOTE:
-> Our carriage is the “Bernina Red Train,” NOT the “Bernina Express.” What's the difference?
“Bernina Red Train” (ours) –> Panoramic windows that open, allowing you to breathe in the mountain air. You can lean out the window to take all your “Instagramable photos” (example: second photo gallery)
“Bernina Express” (NOT ours) –> Slightly larger windows, but they DO NOT open. You'll remain seated for the entire journey, taking photos through a window. If the sun reflects off the windows, the photos will be blurry and will NOT be a great memory. (Not recommended)
