We'll pick you up at the door of your hotel and, in a comfortable and safe vehicle, we'll head to the picturesque town of Carmelo, the birthplace of winemaking in Uruguay.
With an experienced driver, you'll begin this 1-hour trip while enjoying beautiful landscapes typical of rural Uruguay.
Upon arriving in the city of Carmelo, you can take an essential tour of the town's main points, take unforgettable photographs, and learn a little more about its history.
Then, we'll continue to the small town of Colonia Estrella, where the traditional family vineyards of Bodega El Legado are located. You'll be welcomed by the owners themselves, and you'll be able to tour the vineyards, see the cellar, learn about the process of making their fine wines, visit the labeling room, and finally taste a platter of local cheeses and cold cuts paired with the delicious El Legado wines.
