What you can expect

  • Discover the dark side of Freiburg’s history with Catharina Stadellmenin, the witch of Freiburg. Or follow a 16th century harlot on a walk through the medieval town and learn more about mankind's oldest business.
Explore the old town of Freiburg with its little streams, the Gerichtslaube, or Old Court House, and the medieval city gates. Admire the stately Rathausplatz and Adelhauser Klosterplatz. You choose your guide (though both follow the same itinerary).

Join the desperate Catharina Stadellmenin, the widow of master locksmith Michael Bantzer, on her last journey. Learn about her gruesome fate.
Bear witness. Tell everybody you've seen the “witch” with your own eyes.

Or: join the harlot and let her introduce you to medieval Freiburg and the high art of love. Learn everything about the city and the oldest profession in the world. Discover her secrets about her suitors, the hangman, and other scoundrels. Big fun is 100% guaranteed.
