A visit to the beautiful little chapel on the cliff at Anse Grand Macabou is also a truly memorable experience.
It's a wonderful place with a great vibe. The hike takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
Depending on the surf, you can also choose to jump into the cool water here.

Here, you can enjoy the fruit we purchased on the way, bought directly from a local vendor, while taking in the wonderful view over the sea.

Depending on whether you wanted to extend the tour with a dip in the cool water beforehand or were already looking forward to the rest of the itinerary, we can continue directly to the market square in Le François. Here, we will make a short cultural stop before continuing on to the wonderful distillery in Le François, “Le Clément.”
Once at the distillery, the first thing you can enjoy is the spectacularly landscaped “Jardin Remarquable” garden, featuring artistic sculptures. Then, you will make your way up to the manor house, passing through the former production facilities.
This is an absolute must-see on the island and a fantastic visitor attraction.
Of course, the rum tasting will then take place in a fitting setting.
We should definitely allow 2 hours for this.

On the way back to your destination, you can reflect on the impressions from this tour.
In total, the tour will therefore take about 6.5 hours. Depending on the pick-up location and traffic, it may occasionally take an additional 30 minutes. Please take this into account.
