At the 4th Century BC UNESCO listed Ancient Sanctuary of Asclepius, you can not only visit the very roots of modern medicine, but you will also experience its Great Theater, home to the yearly Epidaurus festival.

One of the most important centers in antiquity and named after the Greek God of Healing, Asclepius, your guide will point out all of its revolutionary structures such as its 60 bed hospital and bath houses, and explain the spiritual, holistic and also surgical methods used on its patients who were entertained at the nearby Great Theater some 2500 years before.
