Located on the banks of Dubai Creek in the most prominent historical neighborhood of Al Shindagha, the Museum is a beacon of Emirati heritage, connecting the rich past to the future and revealing contemporary Emirati identity.

The museum consists of 21 houses, featuring innovative multi-sensory interactive installations beautifully woven throughout. From virtual reality technology, to bespoke workshops, tours, and training, Al Shindagha Museum brings to life memorable, rich experiences across a dynamic range of content.

Al Shindagha Museum tells the universal tale of human innovation, resilience, and the desire for progress which has shaped modern day Dubai and the UAE.

Al Shindagha Museum is home to 22 unique exhibit Houses, including the Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum Residence, originally home of the Al Maktoum Family and the Dubai monarch at the time until 1958, Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum, the grandfather of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid.
