Our donkey walks are a wonderful way to become familiar with these lovely animals and really get to know their personalities and behaviours, as well as learning about donkey welfare! Great for children and adults alike, these walks are a lovely way to spend time in nature and learn more about these sweet animals and about the countryside.

Our donkey walks are a 3-hour experience to give you enough time to explore a mountain village, some natural lagoons and watermills.
Once you arrive, you’ll be welcomed by our team, and given a 15-minute introductory session going over health and safety, and to pair you up with the donkey. Then, it’s time to set off! You’ll walk alongside your donkey and lead them around Montaria village in Viana do Castelo.
Children from 3 to 8 years-old can ride the donkey during the walk.
