Djoudj National Park is the third largest bird reserve in the world. It is located 65 km north of Saint-Louis. The journey takes 1.5 hours by road. The road is being resurfaced, so soon there will be fewer miles to travel. More than 365 species are found in the park. 90% of them are migratory birds from October to April, which is the high season. April–May is the low season. You will have the chance to observe birds, mammals and reptiles. Half-day and full-day tours are organized. The tour is done by pirogue, then by car and on foot.
