    Leave Aktau behind and travel deep into the remote landscapes of Mangystau. Discover the dramatic desert scenery of Akspe and enjoy your first views of the region’s unique geological formations.

    Torysh - Valley of Balls
    Explore the mysterious Valley of Balls, famous for its unusual spherical rock formations scattered across the desert. Take a walk around the area and enjoy time for photography.

    Kokala - Jurassic Clays
    Continue to Kokala and discover its colourful geological formations and striking clay landscapes. The unusual purple and earthy tones create a unique desert scenery.

    Sherkala Mountain
    Visit the iconic Sherkala Mountain, often called the “Sphinx of Mangystau.” Admire its unusual shape and the vast desert landscape surrounding it.

    Airakty - Valley of Castles
    Finish the day at Airakty, known for its dramatic castle-shaped mountains. Explore the area, enjoy the peaceful desert atmosphere and watch the changing colours of the landscape.

    DAY 2 — Bokty, Tiramisu Canyon, Mars Panorama & Dragon Crest
    Start the day surrounded by the vast landscapes of Mangystau and continue towards the spectacular Bozzhyra area.

    Bokty Mountain
    Visit the striking Bokty Mountain, an isolated formation rising dramatically from the surrounding desert. Bokty is featured on the Kazakhstan 1,000 tenge banknote and is one of the most recognisable landscapes of Mangystau.

    Tiramisu Canyon
    Explore colourful Tiramisu Canyon, known for its layered geological formations and vibrant red, orange and yellow tones. Take time to walk around and capture memorable photographs.

    Bozzhyra - Mars Panorama
    Continue to the famous Mars Panorama, where colourful cliffs and unusual geological formations create an otherworldly landscape resembling the surface of Mars.

    Bozzhyra Dragon Crest
    Finish the adventure at the spectacular Bozzhyra Dragon Crest. Enjoy panoramic views of the dramatic white limestone formations and the vast surrounding desert.

    After exploring Bozzhyra, begin the drive back to Aktau.
