From 7.00 am, bus and guide pick you up at your accommodation in Hanoi’s Old Quarter then drive through the beautiful countryside until you reach Ninh Binh province. On the way, have a short break to refresh.
10.30 am, arrive at the ancient citadel of Hoa Lu. The site was once the capital of the region. See the various shrines and temples such as King Dinh Temple.
12.30, have lunch at a local restaurant with Buffet style, you can choose suitable food for you. After that take a 1.5-hour sampan boat trip rowed by a local rower. Sail gently along the Ngo Dong river (Trang An), capturing the wonderful scenery of the Karst hills, rice fields, and peaceful villages. See the Tam Coc Caves of “Ca”, “Hai” and “Ba.”
If time allows, you can cycle in the village to rice field and peaceful village (30 minutes), bus takes you to Mua Cave and start a trek up to the summit of Ngoa Long mountain. Once you reach the summit enjoy a beautiful view of the valley below. Get back to the bus and come back to Hanoi.
