Your adventure begins with an early pickup from your hotel in Cusco around 4:00 a.m. (exact time may vary depending on your location). Once the group is ready, we’ll set off toward the stunning Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain.

Enjoy a 2-hour scenic drive through the Andes in our comfortable tourist transport until we reach the community of Cusipata, where you’ll enjoy a delicious breakfast before continuing the journey.

From Cusipata, we’ll take a 1-hour ride along a dirt road, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, canyons, and views of the majestic Ausangate Glacier, the largest in the Cusco region.

Upon arrival at the trailhead, we’ll begin a 30-minute hike toward the Rainbow Mountain. Those who wish to reach the summit faster can rent a horse or motorcycle (optional). Hiking time varies depending on your pace, and our guide will ensure everyone walks comfortably and safely.

At the summit, standing at 5,020 meters (16,466 ft), you’ll marvel at the spectacular colors of Vinicunca, one of Peru’s most famous natural wonders. Your expert guide will share fascinating insights about the mountain’s geology, culture, and significance. Afterwards, you’ll have free time to explore, take photos, enjoy a snack, or simply relax.

For those interested in visiting the Red Valley, our guide will provide the necessary information and timing based on your hiking level.

After enjoying the breathtaking views, we’ll hike back to the parking area and return to Cusipata for a well-deserved lunch. Finally, we’ll drive back to Cusco, arriving around 4:30 p.m. (drop-off in the city center or at your hotel for private tours).
