Highlights include historic gold mining relics along the trail, a scenic Clutha cruise on a jet boat that connects an impassable area of the trail, and the impressive Roxburgh Dam which is witnessed at the end of the trail at Roxburgh Hydro Village. This trail can easily be combined with other Central Otago cycling routes to make for more of a multi-day adventure.
