Discover the ancient fortress of Almódovar Castle, a filming location for the 7th season of HBO’s “Game of Thrones” series. Find out about the history of the castle and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area.

As you climb up the hill to the castle, admire the picturesque landscape. Only 10 minutes away, you’ll find the big entrance door. There, you’ll be greeted and given a map to use on your self-guided tour of the castle’s towers and walls.

In each tower or notable place, you’ll find information boards in 7 different languages. Learn about the castle’s history with these boards and 2 further projections.

aAt the end of the tour, visit the chapel and the medieval hall, both part of the private area of the castle’s owners. Finally, before leaving, enjoy time to relax in the patio or buy a little medieval souvenir to remember your experience.
