Itinerary
02:30 to 03:00 AM: We begin the ONE DAY ADVENTURE TOUR IN COLCA with the pickup of passengers from various hotels to start the journey through Yura. The trip will go directly to the Cruz del Cóndor, stopping only for breakfast.
Approximately at 08:30 AM, we will arrive at the Cruz del Cóndor, where we can appreciate one of the deepest canyons in the world and the sanctuary of the condor. On the way back, we will stop in the towns of Pinchollo, Maca, and Yanque, which feature beautiful colonial churches, as well as at the viewpoints of Antahuilque and Choquetico, where we can observe pre-Incan tombs and models, along with the stunning landscape of Colca and its impressive terraces. Additionally, we will appreciate traditional costumes, camelids, and trained birds, and enjoy traditional drinks such as the Colca Sour made in Sancayo.
11:30 AM: On the way, we will head to the thermal baths of Chacapi, natural pools with scenic views.
12:30 PM: We will then have lunch for one hour in Chivay and later board another tourist vehicle towards Puno.
1:30 PM: On the return journey, we will stop at the volcano viewpoint (the highest point at 4,910 meters above sea level), at the Tocrapampa wetlands, where we can observe the diversity of wild birds, herds of alpacas and llamas. In Pampa Cañahuas, we will see herds of vicuñas (part of the Aguada Blanca and Salinas National Reserve), the beautiful South American camelid known for having one of the finest fibers in the world, and high Andean lagoons near Puno.
Approximately 7:00 PM: Arrival in PUNO.
