This approximately 4-hour tour is your “perfect morning” in the heart of the seaside village, an authentic immersion in flavors, stories and the true local atmosphere.
A complete sensory experience designed to let you discover the soul of a place that has jealously guarded its roots.

At the meeting point, you'll find your local guide and your small group of explorers. We'll give a brief introduction and then finally begin our adventure.

In just a few minutes, we'll be just a stone's throw from the sea, in a small grocery store that is a true temple of 100% Sicilian flavors. We'll kick things off with a selection of appetizers: marinated sardines, sun-dried tomatoes smoked over coals, an irresistible assortment of cheeses, and other fresh, local products.

A stroll along the waterfront, with a bit of conversation, will take us to the historic old town, where we'll reach one of Cefalù's most distinctive little squares.
There, we'll have an aperitif where and how the locals do, sitting on the steps of a small church from the 1400s.

We will then continue by visiting the historic center (Arab-Norman Cathedral, the Bastion, the Old Marina, Porta Pescara and the Medieval Washhouse, etc.). We will wander through the ancient alleys and take in breathtaking views, and we will walk along a route created inside the cliff that runs alongside the citadel.

Finally, it will be time for an authentic and simple family lunch at a special restaurant.

We'll start with a selection of traditional Cefalù appetizers: flavorful Sardine Patties, vibrant Caponata, sweet Sweet-and-Sour Pumpkin, Fresh Ricotta from the Madonie Mountains, and the golden crunch of Cod Croquettes.
But the real highlight will be tasting the iconic dishes: the legendary Pasta a Taianu, a unique delicacy that you'll only find here, and the classic Pasta con le Sarde, cooked according to the ancient recipes of fishermen's wives, who were able to transform simple ingredients into masterpieces. Each course will be enhanced by a pairing with excellent house wines.

As tradition and our grandparents dictate, a good lunch should be rounded off with homemade biscuits “dipped” in a sweet liqueur wine.
This “sweet” farewell will take place in a truly magical spot: a small balcony overlooking the sea, from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view of Cefalù's picturesque old pier.
