Begin your day with a pickup from Bishkek and head to the Konorchek Canyons. Stop for a break in Kattama before arriving at the parking lot at the start of the route to the canyons. We'll sample the traditional puff pastry called kattama with tea from a samovar.

Embark on a 4-kilometer hike through the canyons, which are a miniature version of the Grand Canyon. Marvel at the incredible clay sculptures and labyrinths created by thousands of years of erosion. Walk through the ancient volcano Segizkhan-Shokny, a rare phenomenon for Kyrgyzstan, and, if you're lucky, find shell remnants - evidence of a sea that once existed here.

After your hike, stop for a break at a roadside cafe in the Boom Gorge. Then, head to the hot springs in Issyk-Kul. Soak in the healing mineral water and relax your muscles after your hike. Alternatively, take a walk along the shore of Issyk-Kul Lake.

Finally, return to Bishkek, stopping for a break at a roadside cafe in the Boom Gorge along the way.
