We did the chocolate-making workshop at the Chocolate Museum in Cusco and absolutely loved it! The experience was fun, interactive, and really informative. Our guide, Hannah, was fantastic—so friendly and knowledgeable, she made the whole workshop even more enjoyable. The chocolate we made was delicious, and the sweet take-home pack was a lovely bonus. This is a must-do activity for anyone visiting Cusco—highly recommend!

Out of all the activities/experiences I did while in Peru, this was my least favorite. It’s too expensive for what you get (a few pieces of chocolate with undesirable candy add-ins), and overall not a very engaging activity. We mostly stood around listening to the host for over an hour and a half before pouring pre-made chocolate into a mold. Then we had to wait around 30 minutes for it to chill before we could leave. Would not recommend.

A fun activity, very knowledgeable and friendly guide, going through the process of chocolate making. Finally, they give you 120 grams of hot chocolate (of the least quality) and one can prepare its desireable flavors with some options available. *** Charging $38+ for this activity is way beyong its value. We found that direct booking in the provider website would cost $25 (i. e., Viator charges 50%! more). OUTRAGEOUS. *** We have some comments for improvement: 1- There was a continuous noise coming from the store next to the workshop room, we found it difficult to hear the guide. Must find a solution for that. 2- Place bar seats in the room. Standing still for two hours is not always easy. 3- There is an artifact in the room describing the process. It includes errors... It should be corrected at once.
