We start at the parking lot of the Ehrwalder cable car and immediately tackle the first ascent to the Ehrwalder Alm. It is challenging, but doable, and is quickly rewarded with the first unobstructed views towards the Zugspitze. Along the way, I'll keep telling you about the region, the landscape and what makes this area so special. After that, we continue over a ridge and through quiet forests to Seebensee. We take our time at the turquoise lake. If you like, you can jump into the water for a moment or take a picnic break right on the shore. Just the right place to recharge your batteries. Then comes the second ascent through alpine terrain, accompanied by new views of the Zugspitze massif. Once at the top, I will decide with the group whether we will make a short detour towards Drachenkopf. After that, we will stop at the Coburger Hütte and enjoy the views of Drachensee and Seebensee. The descent back to Ehrwald brings the tour to a relaxed close and once again offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
