Stories abound about the medieval city with its ancient balance, slavery, World War II, the Four Freedoms Award, ancient graves, herbs and trees, monks, canons and more! In short: history, excitement, and information for everyone. Our experienced guides will take you to, through, and inside the Abbey's most beautiful spots. There are many stories to discover here.

Practical information:
The tour is organised in spring and summer on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Good to know:

  • The tour is in Dutch and suitable for children aged 10 and up.
  • Maximum 15 people per tour.
  • Cost: €15.00 for adults and €5.00 for children up to 18 years old.
  • Abbey Tour participants receive a 50% discount on museum admission. Children up to 18 years old are admitted free.
  • The meeting and departure point is at the reception desk of the Zeeuws Museum on Abdijplein. Show your reservatrion to our staff member.
  • Depending on the accessibility of the Abbey, the tour route may vary.
