What you can expect

This two to three-hour hike to Tamarind Falls is one of the island’s most popular excursions. The trail weaves between forest and basalt rocks beside the water, covering 5 waterfalls that reveal a lush green canyon with a dramatic 40-meter drop you can even walk behind. Sunlight streaming through the falling water creates stunning rays, and the large basins at the base of the waterfalls offer the perfect opportunity to jump in and cool off or just enjoy a natural foot massage from the cascades. Each waterfall you encounter offers a unique scene depending on its height and flow, and an experienced guide will keep you safe while showing the best routes.
