We suggest you arrive early in the morning around 09.00 am, we facilitate you crossing the border and help in getting gorilla and volcano permits and then Transfer to Kibumba for Gorilla and Nyiragongo Trekking. You are going to enjoy a life-changing experience with the gorillas and watch the world’s largest active lava lake. In Virunga, we offer 3 nights, 4 days; the first two days we do Gorilla trek in Kibumba and then a trek on Nyiragongo Volcano the third day. 1.00pm: Departure for Kibumba Tented Camp for the first overnight.

Morning: After Breakfast and briefing, with help of ranger’s guide we will have 1 to 2.5 hours trekking on the group of Gorillas in the Park. Late Afternoon: A lunch will be offered, then follows a nature walk and bird watching.

Morning: After breakfast we leave Kibumba for Kibati Ranger Post at 8.15am, the departure points for the Nyiragongo trek. After a short briefing, we embark on a 4 to 6 hours hike (depending on the slowest person in the group). We spend the night here. The view is incredible and the lava lake is very impressive.

With its aim to securely and safely help travelers to Discover Congo, this tour of Goma city you will literally take you to all corners of the town from the south to the north (Port de Goma, Turunga) and from the East to west (Grande Bariere, NDOSHO quarter). To be visited: Goma Port, Local Museum, the monument of Tchukudu, the airport street, the Virunga Market, Turunga, a local chocolate factory, KITUKU market, and local restaurant.
