What you can expect

  • This isn't a boat trip with a glass of wine on the side — it's a full Canarian wine pairing experience, and you'll be hosted by the people who own the boat.

We start with a relaxed, one-hour cruise along the volcanic south coast of Gran Canaria, taking in cliffs, hidden coves, and the kind of coastline you won't see from the beach. Once we're back at the dock in Puerto de Mogán — boat moored, engine off — the boat becomes your table: a shaded, U-shaped seating area where the real experience begins. The entire tasting takes place at the harbour, not underway, so it's relaxed and steady from first course to last.

Over two hours, Marta and Ruben guide you through a three-course tasting menu built entirely around local Canarian products — artisanal cheeses, Chorizo de Teror, olive oil, seasonal fruit, and homemade yogurt — each course paired with a different Canarian wine (a rosé, an aged white, and a semi-sweet Listán). Every pairing is explained as it's served: why this wine, why this pairing, what makes it Canarian. No wine knowledge needed — just curiosity.

It's a small-group, unhurried experience, better suited to travelers who want to sit, taste, and talk than to those looking for an active day on the water. If it's adventure and snorkeling you're after, we run that trip separately — this one is about flavor, place, and good company.

“It's more than a meal — it's a journey through the flavours and scenery of the Canary Islands.”
