They did a fire alarm testing that made the sirens to go off for over 30 minutes. If that was not enough. At night our room got infested with ants, and we had change rooms in the middle of the night.

We liked the location of the property and the beautiful, spacious lobby. We loved the pool. It was never overly crowded, it was very comfortable, and it was easy to get to the beach from the pool area. The view of the ocean from my room was beautiful. Housekeeping could have been better. It took a long time to get towels to the room or have garbage taken away. The mirrors in my room were not clean and the sheets had stains on them when we arrived. While the valet service was nice, I hated that it was a requirement. It felt like a huge waste to pay $55 a night to park my car in the garage across the street when I could have done it myself and had easier access to my room from the garage as I was in a room across the skywalk which was connected to the parking garage. Instead I had to go through the lobby and go up 2 separate elevators and across the skywalk to get to my room. Everything at the resort is expensive from food/drinks to umbrellas on the private beach. Resort fees do not cover anything extra outside of access to the pools and gym. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but will look elsewhere if we visit Fort Lauderdale again.
