"The property itself is gorgeous. The only downsides are 1. food on resort is a bit of a miss (not enough simple, local dishes in favor of fancy over-the-top dishes ) although breakfast was lovely and 2 you have to have a car to get to Tropea as the resort is isolated and there is not much to do in terms of activities or entertainment. If the weather is nice, you are in for a treat because their beach staff is impeccable and their grounds are breathtaking."

"You won't find more friendly staff members at any hotel. From the front lobby to the cleaning staff, everyone made us feel like we were family, photos were taken upon our departure. The hotel is conveniently located on the main road into the city from the train station located less than 10 minutes away. The rooms are interesting, ours included hand painted frescoes on the walls. "This property is fantastic. The pool and beach area are beautiful and relaxing. Our room was good size as well as a great bathroom with a separate shower (large size) and tub. We had a nice balcony as well with an ocean view. The views of Stromboli and the other islands was great. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with a chef making custom omelets and crepes, very fresh fruit and nice pastries. The staff was very good- Noemi at the pool bar was outstanding!"

"WE had to make an emergency stay at the last moment. Pleasantly surprised at how beautiful Tropis is. The grounds were beautful. The rooms were very nce and the Staff was extremely courteous. Speaking English to guide us through an already frustrating day. The price per night may be a bit on the high-end, but absolutely worth every penny!"
