"Our stay at The Santhiya in Koh Yao Yoi was an unforgettable experience, and it has easily become one of our favorite places we have ever stayed. From the moment we were picked up by their private speedboat and taken to their dock, we felt the magic of this resort. Nestled from beach to hillside, The Santhiya offers transportation around the resort in little Toyota tuk-tuks painted to look like they were made of wood. While the diesel fumes weren't great, the drivers were friendly and got us from point A to point B. The intricate wood carvings throughout the hotel and rooms are simply breathtaking, capturing the essence of traditional Thai craftsmanship. It felt like stepping back in time, with every detail enhancing the authentic and serene atmosphere. During our stay in April, we opted for the Ocean View Pool Villa and couldn't have been more pleased. The villa exuded old-world Thai charm, and waking up to stunning ocean views was a dream come true. Although it was jellyfish season and we couldn't swim in the ocean, the resort's swimming pool was fabulous—one of the best we've ever enjoyed. The breakfast buffet was another highlight, offering a wide array of delicious options that catered to every palate. It's worth noting that the booking policy is non-refundable, which is a downside. However, this didn't overshadow the overall excellence of our stay."

"Very nice resort, clean and great service. A little outside downtown area but easily walkable or call an tuk tuk. It’s about 0.5 mile walk from walking street in Phuket. Not on the beach, but ocean views and nice beach cove at end of property driveway or 10 minute walk to public beach. "
