Pros First, we enjoyed our stay and the staff all around were very friendly and kind. It was an easy walk to the beach and the bar by the pool was awesome. Food at the restaurant was OK, not great, decent. Pool was good, smaller than what it looks in photos but kids still enjoyed it. Cons, the property is older and it shows. The headboard on our beds were terrible, there was a large gap between the mattress and the headboard so the pillows kept falling. The beds are not full size , they’re large twins which makes it inconvenient for 4 people to stay in a double bed room. We’re not big and we still barely fit and slept uncomfortably. They have carpets everywhere so it’s smelly through the halls by the lobby and the rooms, it stunk like vomit by the lobby and gift shop and the path along towards the rooms. Otherwise , it was a good stay but next time I would reserve a condo room vs a regular room.

The resort had everything we needed without having to leave, unless we just wanted to. The pools were great! The poolside bar and snack bar was awesome! It was easy to get to the beach. Live entertainment was an option nightly! It’s a beautiful place, and we’d definitely choose it again!

I haven't stayed at the Isla Grand in years but, was looking forward to seeing if I could expect the same quality I experienced long ago. I'm more than happy to say that everything was wonderful and my only upset was that i couldn't enjoy my stay longer. I am excited to return once again when I have the chance.

We're a family of 5. Our roomy 2 bedroom 7th floor condo was perfect for our stay. The beach was clean and beautiful. Kids lived their first visit to the ocean. Hotel staff was professional and friendly. We had a wonderful time.

We got there Friday the room not so great. The restroom dirty and room smells kind a musty but tolerable. Friday when we came in, there were people working next door so we did not pay attention. Saturday had a meeting and came back 4pm. The hallway and the room was full of water.. flooded. Reported it said they’re going to fix it. Got back at10pm still not fixed and there were more water. The room now smelled horrible like moldy. Talked to the manager and was told that the hotel was fully booked. So they expect us to sleep in that mess. I have pictures to prove it. So I asked for refund cuz there is no rooms that they can transfer us. But since it was booked with Expedia they could not refund said they’re going to call you and Expedia has to refund us.. this is really ridiculous. I am sorry but this is not our fault so a refund should be in order

The pool area was excellent. The access to the beach was too far with soft sand in the middle access . Make the walking ramp longer towards the beach.
