"It’s water view but we were basically looking at the train station. The room is small, just big enough for a bed, a couch, other furnitures like tables and chairs take more space, the bathroom is surprisingly big which we didn’t need. But it’s close to the bus station, the staff are very friendly. Overall it was a good stay. "

"The hotel was on the canal which made it easy for water taxi. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and classy although a little small. The location is a 20 minute plus walk to St Marks Square, but that is probably a good thing since it's much quieter here. Close to bridge to train station where Venetian commuters come and go. I would stay again if back in Venice."

"The hotel is a museum, you stay in a historic building, the room was clean and comfortable, sheets and mattress felt new and clean. Very friendly staff, it has a terrace with a spectacular view of the grand canal, not too many amenities at the room, for the same reason that you are staying in a historic building, the room feels old, I would stay here again if it is available. "We arrived by train and walked over several bridges (lots of stairs) to the hotel. It took us about 20 minutes with our heavy suitcases, you may want to hire a porter and cart! The hotel is just off the Grand Canal walkway. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Hotel check in was easy and they had friendly staff. They have an elevator! "The staff at this hotel was beyond fantastic. They were 5 out of 5 for dinner recommendations. The location is very walkable to some of the city's biggest attractions. Gondolas float by the window day and night. The water taxi entrance prevents you from dragging your luggage around the city. We had a large room with a large bathroom and a long but skinny tub. Ask about the bed sizes. I'm tall, and the bed was a bit too small for me. The buildings are all old, so expect old building features, but that adds to the charm of the experience. The breakfast buffet was just what we needed every morning, with European and American options. The client experience made you feel like the most important person in the room. I would definitely stay here again. "
