"We attended a family function nearby and The Shade was a recommendation. We booked it and decided on our trip down to book a 2nd room for our older daughters to have more space. "The hotel is in a great location and has a pool, hot tub, and tennis courts which we liked. There are dining options onsite including the bar/restaurant in the lobby which had the most delicious shrimp tacos I’ve ever eaten, and staff there was amazing! The room was pretty good but our shower handle kept getting stuck and didn’t drain well. Despite that issue, I would stay there again."
