It was like a cruise ship, but on land all the amenities were great. The food was awesome and the staff is friendly and nice.

Man I don’t like to talk bad about things personally. But my experience at Live Aqua Beach Resort Punta Cana has been less then desirable. For the money I paid. I been here since Saturday, and left on a Wednesday. Had my room changed cause it was trash. They upgraded me and that room had blood on the sheets. The door to the patio didn’t work. The room service tried to steal my personal drinking glass. The food is so so at best. The liquor is definitely watered down. The staff friendliness is hit or miss, I sat in the main lobby bar for 45 mins and never got service but other races got service over me the whole time. I had to ask over 3 times to get a drink order. Like overall I seen high marks on this place before I booked so I was hyped But now I can’t wait leave. It’s a definite no for me and my coins.

I enjoyed the variety of pools at the hotel, especially having the option of both music-filled and quieter ones. However, I was disappointed with the service at the pool and beach areas. The servers were sparse and only came around every 30-45 minutes, which was frustrating. Additionally, the staff at this property could benefit from more training in customer service. I only saw one person smile the entire week, and that was from someone trying to sell a timeshare. The quality of the drinks was also disappointing. The bartenders could use some cocktail training, and servers should be more attentive to guests' needs, such as providing napkins and offering drink refills. Overall, the staff needs basic training to improve the guest experience. While I enjoyed the last few days, I won't be returning.

I didn’t like how the servers would forget part of my order and when I do ask for it again, they would take other guests’ orders. There was no sense of urgency. In terms of the food quality, Huzur was the best and so was Chef Augustine. He prepared a beautiful meal that looked just as good as it was tasty. Our housekeeper, Marie, did a phenomenal job at keeping our room nice and tidy. She would leave the room spotless with fresh new towels. The night entertainment in the resort was great but the daytime entertainment could use some variety. Overall, our experience was good.
