"We loved this hotel! It was beautiful: old world meets modern amenities. In the heart of it all 8 min walk to St. Mark’s Square), but incredibly quiet with a super comfy bed. 2 min walk to Vaporetto stop and boat to airport. Great concierge. We had a deluxe corner room with 3 windows opening onto the square. Lovely! Venice is a truly magical place. "

"A friend and I stayed here on a Saturday night before a 6 am flight from the nearby Venice airport. This is a lovely little property - our clean, comfortable rooms were on the 2nd floor (3rd floor in American terms) and there was a tiny elevator to get us there. Everything is digital - the multiple locked entry doors (to street, to lobby, to a corridor limited to just a few of the rooms and to the room itself) - so don't lose that access code! Local dining options are limited - we liked our dinner at the nearby restaurant recommended at check in but could not help noticing that there were no locals dining there on a Saturday night. We got up at 4 in the morning and walked to the airport to catch our flight - 15 to 20 minutes. The walk was easy enough with adequate street lighting, but there are sections where you will be walking on the road edge or gravel surface because there is no paved walkway. This was not an issue in the early am, but could be later in the day when traffic is heavier and you keep on the gravel edge to be safe. Be sure to check Google maps so you don't overshoot the turn off that lets cars and walkers get into the airport roadways and the terminal. We kept straight at the roundabout because the sidewalk went that way and couldn't find any break in the fencing of the parking lots and wound up walking back to the turn off."

"The staff at this hotel was beyond fantastic. They were 5 out of 5 for dinner recommendations. The location is very walkable to some of the city's biggest attractions. Gondolas float by the window day and night. The water taxi entrance prevents you from dragging your luggage around the city. We had a large room with a large bathroom and a long but skinny tub. Ask about the bed sizes. I'm tall, and the bed was a bit too small for me. The buildings are all old, so expect old building features, but that adds to the charm of the experience. The breakfast buffet was just what we needed every morning, with European and American options. The client experience made you feel like the most important person in the room. I would definitely stay here again. "
