Had this incident not happen, I would have said wonderful stay. For someone who wants the basics and pay really cheap and be in a great downtown location, it is perfect! As I said, I would have recommended if I had not forgotten my 2 pieces of clothing in the room and had so much trouble receiving help finding them.
The same evening after I checked out, I realized I forgot 2 pieces of clothing. After emptying my entire suitcase and seeing they were missing, I called them and was told it was not found. After I insisted, they said no one could check the room again that night but promised I would be called back the next day. No one ever called back the next day; I had to call 5 times to get answers, and every time I was promised a call back that I never actually got. The last time I called, an hour after being promised a call back within 15 minutes, they said they did not find anything and they could not do anything for my missing items valued at almost 200$. They make you sign a waiver at check in saying « not responsible for any stolen items » so they won’t to do do anything about it.
In conclusion, I had to CHASE down an answer by calling a total of 7 times in 24 hours, they honestly did not seem to care for my situation at all, and I felt no empathy or desire to help, nor did I receive any apologies. Anyways, I still don’t have my items, so I assume they were either discarded or stolen, and it really ruined the whole trip.
