"The Menger is a historic hotel that’s close to much of what’s going on in San Antonio. We stayed on the historic side of the hotel, so the room was charming, but also comfortable. I would have liked more towels, but it was super late when we got back so we didn’t want to disturb anyone to get them. I would have loved to be able to open our windows and enjoy the balcony. Other than that it was good!"

Positive: A/C works great, shower head adjustable for steam and high pressure spray, plenty of hot water, coin operated washer and dryer for guests. Sofa bed was outfitted with sheets and duvet, ready for guest use. Negative: Breakfast is pretty gross with few options except making your own waffles. Two bath towels, two hand towels and four wash cloths provided for three adults. Housekeeper reluctant to provide third towel. Guests...
