"When checking-in I did not receive the correct change. I was charged 87 euros for property taxes. I paid 100 euros, but receive 3 as change. After inquiring on this matter, the hotels manager realized I was robbed. I ended up receiving 20 euros (one as compensation). Watch out for this. Besides this minor incident, the hotel is just fantastic !"

"The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the shops which mainly open late mornings on Sunday and Mondays. The room and bed were very comfortable with a contemporary feel and a mini fridge which was empty so we stocked with our own drinks. The room was quiet and the corridors softly lit with a relaxed atmosphere and we enjoyed a meal in the restaurant on the first night. "Just a must place to stay if you want a great stay at a boutique hotel! Can not recommend this hotel enough as it was a perfect vacation when visiting Amsterdam, The hotel is 5 min from the station, but we found Haarlem to be the highlight of our visit, with an abundance of shops, restaurants and cafes, but just a great town to visit."
