Good, quiet low-end resort, away from other resorts. Needs a refresh. Limited menu, has selection of day trips. Small private beach with good snorkeling 50m out at med/high tide. Very limited roads on Redang mean you can only scooter to Turtle Bay (where they hand feed turtles for the tourists). Had a great local bbq squid & tuna over a 44gal drum there.

I understand the negative reviews - the property needs maintenance and upkeep and the bed was like concrete. But, we asked for extra duvets to use as cushioning and staff happy to provide. The toilet continued running after flushing, the shower squirting water (but was hot), and balcony chair nearly collapsed. But, maintenance staff so friendly and happy to fix - all issues fixed in one request. The local staff happy we tried to speak limited Malay, were friendly and smiled a lot. Breakfast not as extensive as other hotels, but enough to feel full each morning. Location is away from Long Beach, so I very quiet. If you want buzz, stay at Long Beach. We wanted relaxation and have peaceful quietness, so we were happy. The pool was dirty and brown due to an issue with Government Water provided to resort. However, staff kept trying to empty & refill each day - pool swimmable by third day! If you correctly set your expectations, you will be okay. It’s not a 5 star resort. If you have any issues, just ask staff a friendly question and they will do their best to accommodate. Wana at reception was excellent! Great English speaking and found us a reasonable priced transfer (RM150pp) to Perhentian Island for our next stay saving much time. Needs a bit of work, but a reasonable stay for price.

ホテルの古さが気になりました。ベッドメイクはしてありましたがシーツなど変えていなかったようでした。タオルも言わないと変えてもらえませんでした。 宗教上の理由から近場でアルコールを販売しているところがありません。1日2本しかボートが出ていないロングビーチと言う所に行かないとビールが手に入らず不便でした。ホテル内のレストランではアルコールの提供はありましたが。 ホテルのアクティビティには満足しています。シュノーケリングが楽しかったです。

Bei unserer Ankunft war es sehr ruhig. Wir sind vom Hotel am Jetty abgeholt worden. Z.T. waren wir allein im Pool. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr schön, auch wenn kein nennenswerter Strand in der Nähe ist.

La struttura in sé non è male dovrebbero riguardare gli infissi perché entrano i Gechi nella stanza se usi la luce noi usavamo la torcia del telefono. Abbiamo trovato le lenzuola un pó macchiate ma penso sia così per tutta la malesia perché in tutti hotel che siamo andati quasi tutti peccavano di coperte senza macchie anche al marina bay. Abbiamo chiesto il cambio della coperta ma anche lì era macchiata quindi penso sia un problema idrico a sto punto.. Abbiamo lavato i costumi dal rubinetto dell'Hotel i costumi puzzavano di fogna. Il persone molto cortese, la colazione abbastanza varia.

Overall was good...If u choose to enjoy night life here, this is not the right place. Need to go to long beach to enjoy night life. But if u want comfort and just want to enjoy a calm and relaxing your mind, this would be the right place.

Magnifique semaine à Redang Island
Chambre tout en bois, très propre, chaînes câblées et Wi-Fi stable, loin du bruit avec une petite vue sur la mer. Personnel attentionné, et réactif. Les repas sont bons. Une toute petite plage en contre-bas de l'hôtel, une piscine propre de 25m, navette gratuite jusqu'à la magnifique plage aux tortues. Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine reposante.

Da vi ankom fik vi at vide, at der ikke var strøm, da generatoren var gået i stykker dagen forinden. Dette betød desværre, at vores 1. døgn på stedet blev frygtelig, trods venligt personale. Ingen aircondition og svale drikke. Ingen stearinlys / andet blus så vi i det mindste kunne spille kort eller andet sammen. Ingen mulighed for at lade vores tlf op, så vi løb tør for strøm. Det tager kun 45 minutteren at sejle til fastlandet, så en manglende komponent til en generator bør kunne fremskaffes indenfor en 5-6 timer. Døgn 2 nød vi med god pool samt tur til Marine park (snorkling). Hytterne er fine og charmende, når blot der er strøm. Der er 4 km til Turtle Beach - koster 25 rm for en taxi dertil

A long weekend getaway
Good sea view resort, room was well-lit with plenty of lights and clean. Food was sufficient and quality was adequate for breakfast and dinner. We tried order food from the kitchen though it took a while for the staff to pick up and delivered to our room. We thought we would be starving from check-out back to the mainland, but thankfully the staff had prepared our breakfast to takeaway at the reception. Overall, we're enjoyed our stay.

The staff was really friendly! So so nice to be around them. But the place was really not maintain, the pool had frogs swimming in it.. so I didn’t manage to swim. I had a severe bed bugs bites all over my body.. it was covered with bed bugs I also notice that the room was very dirty and very dusty in all corners. Also explains why there are bed bugs. The rooms were so dimly lit too. Had to go back to the mainland to treat my bed bugs bites at my back because it was very bad :( Also we tried calling room service or the reception for 3 days every time there was no answer. It was very difficult to get a hold of them. The breakfast was nice! But the other meals like dinner/lunch was just cold and abit bland. But other than that the staff always took us to amazing places like the beach, activities and did their best to make us feel the ultimate experience of the island. Pity the cleanliness and the bed bugs situation was just so bad.

The bed was hard as a rock! And at night, there were ANTS constantly crawling on the bed! The restaurant was clean, but the menu was very much lacking, and the food not particularly good taste wise. The breakfast was a Continental type BUT no pastries at all! And ordering breakfast you only had the choice of American Breakfast(eggs, chicken sausage, grilled tomatoes, and beans) OR Malay Breakfast which was Nasi Lemak. NOTHING else to choose from! There were NO activities, no bar, NOTHING in the evening! The TV only got 5 channels, and the movie channel was very blurry! And their beach was pretty non existent, maybe 8'x12'! What they DID have, you had to climb down some VERY steep stairs with no railing! They WOULD take you to the Public Beach area for free, and to the jetty to catch your ferry back to the mainland. Too isolated......

Pas de plage à côté de cet hôtel. Il faut soit prendre la navette soit louer a motorcycle ! Très peu de navettes que ce soit en bus pour Public beach ou bateau pour aller sur Long Beach. Décevant de ce côté. Il faut toujours être en demande. Petite crique accessible au pied de l'hôtel mais malheureusement pas nettoyée (beaucoup de plastique rejeté par la mer) Dommage car avec une meilleure organisation, l'hôtel serait sympa ! Au final hôtel cher pour les prestations.

Air conditional is not functioning well, as the water is dripping. Bed and pillow is kinda dirty. There’s a weird smell came out from the wardrobe. The entire resort is so big, but there’s only 1 shuttle van or bus available. The food provided from the cafe is tasteless and variety is not much. Such a disappointment.

前にエクスペディアで泊まった時は、シュノーケリングツアーがセットでいろいろ行けたが、今回はセットがなくマリンパークの無料券のみ。 ホテルの前の小さなビーチはほとんど魚がいないで楽しんだり、くつろぐことはできない。 ツアーその他に参加する必要があるが、客が少ないと定員に達せずツアーなし。 最後の日は客が少なく、朝食もビッフェからアラカルトに変更。 ウィークデイに行くのは問題があるかも。

Disapointed
Hotel is located near the village, nothing you can do around the hotel. The private beach is small and dirty. The room furniture really need to change and maintenance. The swiming pool is dirty even they did done the cleaning but the timing of the cleaning is during people want to swim. The light around the hotel is not enough.
