We like the Hotel and location. Great location and not congested. Unfortunately the hotel is older, and I understand maintenance becomes an issue sustaining a large property. Dirty room, was not clean before I arrived. Bathroom sink drained slow. Maintenance was able to repair, but left sink dirty.

Room was clean had one roof light in my room 13 011 that was out of it’s holding, shower head had a slight leak there was a tweaker loitering around the obelisk for a couple hours before being dealt with or moving on (didn’t see him again when I passed through again) food at the court was good definitely recommend checking out the Nashville tenders as well as checking out the diablos cantina. The mall and Tropicana Ave was enjoyable to walk and shop through and easy to get around.

The Luxor has an amazing pool. It is far enough from the strip that the noise and chaos of the strip is not right ontop of you, but still very easy to walk to the strip.

The management here needs a wakeup call. First, the bathrooms down by the check-in area smelled like a dumpster had a baby w/ a porta-pottie. Second, the room did not have a coffee pot or a refrigerator (unless you wanted to be gouged to rent one for $35 a night), and they didn’t even provide wash cloths for the shower. The last time the washed the windows was when the building was built, there was so much dirt and hard water stains on the outside of the windows, it wasn’t worth trying to peer through. TV was low quality, in 2024 not a single channel was HD, it reminded me of the 1990’s w/ bunny ear antennas. This property is not A rated at all. Next time, we’ll stay at a newer property.

Checked in and was given handicap room (not what I paid for in advance).. No shower curtain, no washcloths. Called room service and was told that they didn’t have any wash cloths. Air unit barely cooled room. Out dated as hell.

Rooms in the piramid are very old. Slow water flow in the sink, no fridge is provided. (Only for extra charged) I know the other hotels include a mini fridge specially with vegas heat its a must. I will not be staying here again.

Hi! My room was very dusty and it looked like the team was performing work and didn't have enough time to continue. The floor in the shower was really bad, I even have to clean it myself. Even after that a lot of the stains did not come off. I took pictures of everything I found in the room. I was very disappointed as I had let a staff member that was on my floor. I work in hospitality and I understand when some things could be missed but this room looked like no one cared to inspect.

I was double charged for parking! The hotel cannot (or will not) give me an itemized breakdown of my charges. This place reeks of charging more than it should. I will never stay here again and I would NEVER recommend it to anyone! It’s a ripoff and clearly a hotel in serious need of better management!

I never write reviews but I wish I would have been warned. I first found dirty socks immediately when we walked into the room. I looked around for a fridge and they stated that it costed 25 dollars to get one delivered to your room. The screen for the tv was minimized and the absolute worst was the shower floor was BLACK. Some hotel guest were rude and didn’t care about my distraction and others did. No at all what I paid for. I stayed in the pyramid part and it was just very old and unclean.

Nice staff. Limited places to eat. Won’t heat up food you bought the night earlier at the property restaurant even though the restaurant said they would. Broken elevators every day (3 out of 6 broken for at least 3 days). Not worth the price. Reserved the pyramid queen premier two weeks prior to travel and prepaid yet upon checkin was not granted pyramid but tower. Not worth it. Disappointed. Overbooking the staff said. Seriously?! Mandalay Bay next time!

They need more cleaning staff. Is not their fault that people that stay there is very filthy but they need to be more aware of this so they can clean, the smell in elevators areas sometimes is nauseous, The pyramid cafe has the best service.

It was nice. A bit dated but nice. I have never stayed in a hotel without a refrigerator nor a microwave since like the 80's! But it was okay. Last ti.e in Las Vegas I stayed at the Venetian but wanted to stay in the iconic pyramid...and i did! We had a blast and the staff was very pleasant.

EXPEDIA messed up our reservation, we had to pay to stay at the palms because the reservation never went through to our hotel, also the dates of our stay were never updated, the hotel the night we were there we’re kind but were useless in helping us because they were also fully booked for that night. There were also too many additional fees that we weren’t aware of like: resort fees incentives and having to pay daily parking fees for $18/day, we also were walked in on by housekeeping in the early morning. This entire trip was a nightmare will never book through Expedia again or stay at the Luxor. Waiting on my refunds and for two nights we paid for at the Luxor on top of the reimbursement for staying at another hotel May 21st.

I’ve stayed at the Luxor multiple times. The Egyptian theme is really immersive and every ride on the elevator—excuse me—inclinator is a treat each time. I recommend the pyramid cafe for breakfast. They have two(!) Starbucks and a FedEx so if you’re here for work you’re set. The only hiccup during this stay I ran into was at check-in. the staff member overcharged me for parking even though I didn’t have a vehicle. He reassured me that it was a deposit, but it has resulted in a 439.80 charge that’s been pending for nearly a month. I enjoyed my stay but I’m hoping this charge will resolve itself without any further delay or action on my end.

Interesting design and 39 degree inclined elevators certainly unique. Property has famous exhibits and shows on property, casino is decent. interconnection to Neighboring properties and friendly lobby staff was great.

Elevator need service, it took over 20 minutes waiting for an elevator. There are four elevators and only two were working per floor. And the wires were exposed in the elevators as well. The facilities are not well maintained, we saw so many missing outlet covers, holes in hallways, a lot of “band aid” repairs.
