When we checked in the first room allocated smelt and clearly needed some plumbing work… the staff immediately moved us to a larger room which was kind. However the new room had no shower pressure at all and lacked some essential amenities such as hooks for hanging anything. The room was wonderfully large but sadly lacked personality. The dinner menu was fine but didn’t appear to change at all. Given that...

"Stunning restoration of a Baron's country estate house. Our suite included a loving area and enormous private patio with views of the agrarian countryside. Town of Realmonte was small and authentic, not touristy. Would stay again for the country feel. "

"Well I appreciated the bigger than normal Italian shower, thank you, but there seems to be an aversion to having soap holders in the actual showers, 4 th place in a row on my Italian sojourn without a soap holder, basic but tasty breakfast reasonable choice, property set in an orange grove, enjoy the animals roaming around, good for kids and a break from high density Italian cities, yes I liked it there and would recommend."

"Friendly owner, ultra-clean, comfortable bed and good hot water in shower. Good coffee at breakfast and excellent staff. It is an Agri turismo property so in the country, twenty minutes' drive to restaurants as only breakfast served at property. Pool looked good and other guests had brought their own towels to use as none supplied."
