"Although it looks pretty bad from the outside the inside is a different matter! Had a great room (large, clean, modern) and the spa facilities (included) were some of the best I have seen (very clean and well kept). The staff were (all, without exception) particularly good. Would definitely stay again if in the Glasgow area and didn't want to be in the city itself."

"The hotel was lovely, the girls on reception were very nice and couldn't do enough for you. We were on the ground floor and in the mornings it was very noisy outside so couldn't sleep as long as we wanted. The rooms were lovely and the bed was extremely comfortable but the shower was not great, there wasn't good pressure of water and the water was only slightly warm so that was a big disappointment. Apart from that everything else was good."

"Lovely hotel, looked recently refurbished and very well situated on the edge of Largs, overlooking the beach, Cumbrae and the highlands and islands in the distance. Staff were all very helpful, breakfast had a good variety of items - both hot and cold, there is a safe, private car park and the bedroom and bathroom were both spotless and comfortable. Regular bus services made for easy travelling up the west coast for the ferry services at Wemyss Bay for Bute and Gourock for Dunoon if you wanted...
