"Very clean. Staff were wonderful, very helpful and welcoming. The bed was new and very comfortable. We were in the charming Historic part of the building and had a skylight in the bathroom and partial view of the bay- lovely! Yes the street noise is loud - they are on the Main Street! "We only stayed here one night as we were making stops down the coast of California but we would’ve stayed for a week if possible with how amazing this hotel was! The staff were very friendly, helpful and improved the overall experience. The property is beautiful and set one street over from the Carmel Beach which makes for easy beach access! The room was very clean/modern and is definitely a luxury experience! We highly recommend staying if you are a couple in search for a hotel in Carmel!"

"The property is safe and parking is easy. The office hours are different but makes checking out easy. The parking is easy and right in front of rooms. The rooms are remodeled. "What a charming little hotel! Our room was spacious. The beds were comfortable. We had a private balcony where we could leave the door open for fresh air. Property has an area with fire pit and hot tub. There is a Tavern attached to the hotel with great food, beer and service which we especially appreciated after a long day of travel.
