My room was so gorgeously decorated, I thought I was in an Agatha Christie novel (minus the murder, of course) where a lucky woman stays by the seaside in an Art Deco fantasy (greys, whites, metallics, nature, art, impeccable taste and style) and looks out at Oban Bay and never wishes to leave. "Some resident/or residents used the toaster just after 7am Saturday morning so this was a bit distressing rushing downstairs then back upstairs to help a family member downstairs ( mobility issues) Other than the above room was clean reception lady was lovely cleaners were friendly. Thank you but perhaps a talk to residents about safety while using facilities "

"Our host Michael was charming, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The accommodationn was fantastic with spectular views over the loch. The room was big, as was the onsuite, and there were great touches e.g. a cafetiere with coffee, supplied free, each morning. Breakfast was plentiful, freshly cooked abd yummy. We will definitley saty again."

"Lovely B&B. Host is wonderful. They picked us up from the ferry and took us back. Wine in the evening in the sunroom. Our room had a lovely view to the water. They also provided us with breakfast to go for the morning we left for the 6:45 ferry."

"Lovely, quirky little hotel set close to main town centre. Parking is at the local carpark so have to pay during working hours but it's just up the road so easy to access. George was very helpful about restaurants, pubs, etc. Room was at the top front and very comfortable albeit quite small and we were at the top so stairs could be an issue for some guests. Lovely view over Oban bay so well worth the climb. Al in all great ttle hotel for a short visit. "

"Such a disappointment, the room was small and old fashioned. Very little space for two people, and damp in the atmosphere. Towels never dried and had to shower and air dry as gettibg dried with a cold damp towel was no fun. Check in security was pior, anyon can just walk in and pick up keys to a room , no staff around and when you rang the numbers for contact there was no answer from all three!"

"I had a 2 night business trip so cost was important. The cost was within my allocated budget. The room was well kitted out. Kettle, fridge, ironing facilities, coffee,tea, table to work at, comfortable bed and a tv. Even had a clock alarm at side of bed and a hairdryer. Towels aplenty and a wonderful high pressure shower. I am sure I have not included everything but would highly recomend this guest house to anyone in oban for a short stay."
