"My partner and I loved our stay at the Scott. It’s a nice area and away from the craziness of the royal mile in Edinburgh. The decor and vibe of the hotel is so cool! The room was amazing!! The rooms are very modern with gorgeous bathrooms and showers. The soap and body wash/body lotion smells amazing. The robes and slippers gave it a luxurious feel. We also dined at the restaurant and did the tasting menu. The staff pulled out the red carpet for us it felt like- the tasting menu was incredible!...

"On arrival we discovered that our booking had been cancelled by the new hotel system. As I suffer from anxiety/panic dosorder this triggered me. The female receptionist oassed the buck to the on duty manager thank goodness as he was extremely calming and reassuring and sorted us a room fairly quickly! An asset indeed to the hotel. Dinner in the bar took a long 50 minutes to be served after ordering, despite us being the only people in there eating."

"This is a phenomenal property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back in the future. The property / Suite was amazing and spacious. The grounds are well kept. "Overall lovely hotel with friendly attentive staff (very rare these days). Room was outrageously hot when I arrived and didn’t manage to cool it down in time for sleeping which was a problem. I also wished food service ran until later - I checked in at 9.20 and it was already finished. Having access to electric car charging a HUGE bonus! "

"I booked a single room for one night, the room was lovely with a four poster bed, amazing shower, very modern large smart TV and the fastest WiFi I’ve ever had in any hotel. I tested the speed and got 500 mbps ! When I stay in hotels I generally accept I won’t sleep as long as at home but this was the exception and I had a wonderful sleep in this bed. "

"It was a good short visit , the best thing of the hotel is location. I am extremely thankful to one of the staff members ( dont know the name ; but she was cleaning the room and dining area in afternoon), she has such a good heart, guided me, helped with phone charger, told me how to get around the city. "Nice place! Old Victorian that they have done a good job with. Parking was small but no problem. No restaurants close so be prepared. The shower was the only short coming. Otherwise great experience! Staff was outstanding! "

"Overall view …. Good. The only disappointing part was on arrival we were told that there was no breakfast. On our booking form FREE BREAKFAST was listed but told there was not going to be one. Having said that… we were supplied a free continental after much debating. Still overall …. I would very much recommend this establishment as all were friendly and the evening food we sampled was lovely."

"The location was beautiful, it’s right next to the palace. The apartment was so beautiful and well decorated. My children loved reading in the window seats. It was an excellent apartment with an excellent location. The communication was also really great.
