"We’ve been to the Burstin many times over the years, we particularly like staying in the balcony rooms. It does urk me though that you seem to be unable to request a balcony room when booking. They are always lumped in with the other Sea view rooms and it’s getting to be more frequent that we are unsuccessful in being allocated one. "

"Overall a nice hotel. We only stayed overnight on our way to France so didn’t have time to enjoy the spa. Positives: (1) Check-in desk staff was super friendly (and funny!). (2) Location is great! By the beach on a nice street. (3) Hotel was well kept. (3) Bathroom was spacious and clean. Negatives: (1) Small room. (2) Very slow lift. (3) Average breakfast. I was expecting more for the price. "The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating! Every request that I made was fulfilled happily. The hotel was clean and the beds were very comfortable. There was a good variety of food for breakfast. Our dog stayed with us and there was a very nice area for her to run around."

"The staff were very caring, kind and considerate. They were breath fresh air. There were areas of the estate that could do with some work but overall, it was very good. The grounds were beautiful to hold, and the food was very good. The room was good but the beds was a little uncomfortable and the pillows flat. It would’ve been nice if there was a minibar but none of these spoiled our time there. We would come again. thank you for making our time there special."

"Ok .. no en suite meaning shared toilet and shower and both were small rooms which is obviously not ideal but at least you know this in advance when you book, so your choice. No lifts, steep and narrow stairs, creaky floorboards, car parks a good 10 minute walk…. but, and critically, unbelievably well located for town and cathedral and very friendly and helpful staff. The continental breakfast options were fine and adequate. Place was clean and tidy, bed comfortable. So do not expect 5 star...

"日本から、女性1人旅で3日間宿泊 スタッフも気軽に声をかけてくださり、気持ちよく滞在できました 朝食はあまりたくさん食べないので、cold meal だけで十分でした 希望でhot meal もオーダー可能 朝からいろいろ食べられて、嬉しかったです 大聖堂には徒歩15分くらいかな？ 特に不便は感じませんでした 日本のように近所にすぐコンビニがあるわけではないので、出たついでに飲み物とか買って来るといいかもしれないです 部屋に冷蔵庫はないので、買うものには注意ですが。 ホテルですが、日本の方が想像するホテルとは違うので、イギリス初めての方は気をつけてくださいね セーフティボックスとか冷蔵庫は部屋にないです いわゆるB&Bのイメージです 心配だったら、予約前に聞いてみるといいかもです 私には最高に心地よい部屋でした ホームステイ中を思い出すような、家っぽい感じがすごくよかったです。 スタッフの皆さまありがとうございました😊 また泊まりたいです"

"We loved the power of the shower. The hotel itself is set in an old building, and it showed with the creakiness of floorboards and thinness of walls, meaning you could hear conversations and movements in hallway and neighbouring rooms. Nice and close to the city centre (15 min walk to centre of high street) and good amount of onsite parking, which is a rare feature in Canterbury."
