"Wir hatten einen fabelhaften zweiwöchigen Aufenthalt im Karpaha Sands. Der Transfer von Colombo bis zum Resort ist zwar etwas länger, lohnt sich aber total. Hier hat rundum alles gestimmt. Der Strand ist wirklich wie im Paradies! Und da das Resort so weitläufig ist, hat man immer seine Ruhe. Davon abgesehen, hat der Service auf ganzer Linie überzeugt. "I came here with my husband and toddler (a year and a half old). Overall we had a great time. What we liked: - The view was breathtaking! - Our housekeeping staff Ajithkumar was amazing to us! He always greeted us and asked if we needed our room cleaned. And when he did, we were greeted with a pleasant surprise, a swan scultpture made out of towels and a really cute elephant scultpture for our son. So much talent! - Our room was VERY spacious which was great for our toddler son who loves to run...

"This is the best hotel in Trincomalee. The staff are the loveliest, kindest staff, and they made our time there feel like home. The food is a choice of traditional Sri Lankan food as well as European/US, but they even made us egg hoppers on request.... Its that we're not on the menu. So I cannot praise them highly enough. "The resort was fine, we get a complimentary bottle of wine as a lucky room number on the New Year, thank you so much and reasonable price for the new year dinner. The public pool is big and warm, but we had a room with a private pool, which was not so warm because the sun can get there just couple of hours per day. "Very close to jump off point for Pigeon Island. Budget room was very clean but very hot despite the fan. No ventilation and windows didn’t open. Check in and checkout were really slow. Was quite disappointed with the friendly, but exceedingly unhelpful staff - not what I would expect at this more expensive property."

"We stayed here for two nights on our journey down the east coast. The bedroom and bathroom were huge with all the amenities you'd expect, even English channels on the TV. The pool is fabulous and the location on the beach is perfect. We went half board and were satisfied with the meals. However if we were staying longer I probably would just do b&b."
